Huntsville Symphony Orchestra has been a part of our community since 1955. We strive to keep the love of music alive in the Huntsville area, not just through season performances, but through music education and community outreach as well.

The HSO is so much more than just classical music. We are the classy date night option that takes the work out of having fun. We are the music lessons that spark the interest of a, now, future Mozart. We are the perfect rainy-day activity for the whole family. We are so many things, but most importantly we are YOUR Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.

Support HSO Annual Operations

Annual operations are the costs that it takes to continue producing each year. As a non-profit organization, the HSO relies significantly on its donors. Ticket sales only cover a small portion of what it costs to put on a performance… Imagine a 2-minute concert. Our sponsors and donors are what make performances possible. So take the phrase “we couldn’t do it without you” literally!

Support Music Education in Our Community

Year-round the HSO strives to offer music education for students of all ages. From our Third Grade Violin Program, which puts teachers in your school systems, teaching students the wonders of music, to our Adult Strings Classes that keep the love for learning alive, we know the influence that music has on our society and realize how important it is to make it available for all. Offering free and affordable opportunities to engage with music is impossible without your support!

Support Music Education

Painted Violin Society

When you join The Painted Violin Society, you become a proud sponsor of the FFC, alongside Damson Automotive. Each Painted Violin Society member will be invited to attend the Painted Violin Unveiling. Where three violins, which have been painted by chosen artists for the Crescen-Dough Auction, are revealed. Members also receive a commemorative Painted Violin poster and have their names printed in the Fall and Spring HSO season programs.
