The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, in conjunction with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild, presents the annual Young People’s Concerts to area fourth-graders, allowing them to explore a true symphony concert programmed just for them at no cost.

This year, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to offer a virtual edition of our Young People’s Concert! Recreate the fun with a classroom screening of the HSO’s  performance of Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals.” The concert is about an hour in length, making it a great length for a no-fuss classroom lesson.

One of the most beloved of compositions for children, “Carnival of the Animals” is a fun and memorable way to teach your students about the instruments of the orchestra. To help us bring the story to life, the HSO is joined by puppets of the Huntsville M.E.T. and Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater.
