featuring soloists of the HSO
The sunny Second Symphony of Brahms is the main attraction in the opening concert of our 2019-20 Classical Series. Musicians from the HSO will perform as soloists in Haydn’s spirited Sinfonia Concertante, and we’ll enjoy the world premiere of Hungarian composer Maté Balogh’s Alabama March as part of our continuing observance of the bicentennial year of Alabama’s statehood.
