David Byrd, Principal Tuba

Principal Tuba David Byrd has performed with the HSO since 1978. A Huntsville native, David graduated in 1979 from Grissom High School, where he played in the award-winning band program. He attended UAH.

David is an Applications Engineer for Mentor Graphics. He is married to the former Missie Arbona and they are the parents of Lee, Russell and Michael, who are all musicians in the Mountain Gap band.
