Christopher Coletti, Principal Trumpet

Coletti125-175Christopher Coletti won the HSO Principal Trumpet chair in 2008.  A year later he joined Canadian Brass and has since performed hundreds of concerts, TV appearances, radio shows and masterclasses across the globe. Comfortable in many different styles, Coletti has worked with musicians ranging from Pierre Boulez, Michael Tilson Thomas and Riccardo Muti to Quincy Jones, Carlos Santana, John Legend, Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine. Coletti’s impressive discography includes 6 Canadian Brass CDs (Christmas Time is HereCarnavalTakes FlightBrahms on BrassStars and Stripes-Canadian Brass Salute America and Echo-The Glory of Gabrieli. Coletti is also featured on the recording Katrina Ballads and can be heard playing trumpet and theremin on Emanuel and the Fear’s self-titled album and Listen. Coletti holds the adjunct trumpet professor position at Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music.  Coletti received his Masters degrees from the Juilliard School and his Bachelors from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City where he resides.  Coletti is a Conn-Selmer artist and performs exclusively on Bach Artisan trumpets.
